Placing orders
Orders are only made by email. The order is confirmed when you have received an invoice.

Although we may have assisted in preparation of quantities for your order, all quantities must be verified by your designer, architect, contractor, installer or equivalent, as we will not be held responsible for discrepancies. We recommend to order 10-15% extra for cuts and other waste.

Please note that the description of our products is subjective and that colours can be perceived differently. If in doubt of colour and pattern – please make sure to order a sample first.

Payment for samples can be made by bank transfer or PayPal.
Payment for orders are made by a bank transfer to our bank account. An international payment can take up to 5 business days to reach our account. We always ask for full payment before dispatching the order.

All prices on the website, is stated in Swedish Krona or Euro and includes VAT. We reserve the right to price changes, misprints of price information, errors in article information and final sales.
If you have received a pricelist, please contact us periodically in order to receive an updated version.

Purchase agreement
Marrakech Design products are ordered through www.marrakechdesign.se/en, in our showroom or by email info@marrakechdesign.se. Purchase agreement is established when your order have been confirmed by Marrakech Design by email and you’ve received an invoice to supplied email address. By ordering you accept our purchase conditions.

Order planning

Please make sure to order your product in time and to inspect the order prior to arranging the installation with your tiler/contractor. Marrakech Design is not liable for additional costs if a tiler/contractor have been scheduled prior to delivery of the order. Marrakech Design always recommends to order the product in advance to scheduling with tiler/contractor since unexpected delays can occur.


Delivery within Europe (by road), US, Canada and Australia (by air) usually takes 7-10 working days from received payment if the tiles are in stock. The shipping companies will deliver the pallet to your address and they will not carry your order inside your house/apartment. Delivery will be scheduled Monday-Friday, during office hours. Marrakech Design can never guarantee a specific delivery date.

We will charge extra for specific delivery hours, local storage or change of address of the pallet etc. when the order have been despatched from Marrakech Design warehouse.

Fail to take delivery of the order
Orders that are shipped but not delivered within a reasonable time, will be returned to Marrakech Design, you will be responsible for the return cost, re-delivery cost or storage charges incurred.

Receipt of Goods & damage during transit
The recipient is obligated to review the shipment for accuracy of materials ordered, including quantity, quality, colour, and for any shipping damage. Contact us by email immediately if any problems exist. Any damage that is apparent upon delivery must be noted to the freight carrier and photographed.
All freight damage claims must be presented in writing to us within seven days of receipt of material. Claims must be received and confirmed by Marrakech Design within seven days from the arrival of the order. We reserve the right to refuse claims for damaged or missing goods made after this time.

It is the recipient who has the duty to inspect the shipment, this can’t be transferred to a third party.

Duty to inspect
When ordering products from Marrakech Design the goods must be inspected upon arrival to ensure that you’ve received the correct item. Good must be inspected and any claim needs to be presented by email within 7 days upon arrival.

Please make sure to order your product in time and to inspect the order prior to arranging the installation with your tiler/contractor. If the product you received does not correspond with your expectations, please inform us prior to installation. Colour differences and any variations in size should be inspected before proceeding with your installation.

Claims made after installation concerning aesthetic appearance that could have been detected during inspection of goods won’t be accepted.

Marrakech Design does only accept return by Right of withdrawal

Right of withdrawal

Please make sure that the conditions for installing cement tiles applies to your area before you proceed with the purchase. Once again, we state the importance of ordering a sample, to make sure that the product meet your expectations.

Returns authorisation must be required in writing within 14 days of receipt of the goods. The right of cancellation is only applied to the full orders (none custom made orders).

The order must be returned unbroken, in original packaging where possible. Marrakech Design is not responsible for any loss or damage to any returned goods in transit and as such. If returned goods are lost or damaged in transit, we reserve the right to charge you for any loss or damage.

The customer is responsible for return cost and the packaging material. Original delivery costs will not be refunded.

Refund will be made by bank transfer within 30 days after confirmation by Marrakech Design.

Please note that Marrakech Design needs to confirm your return.
Return is only applicable to the full order and purchase by distance sales.

For orders placed through our distributors please contact them directly.

Own pick-up of your order

If you collect the pallet yourself or through a third party with the delivery term Ex Works will the liability, be placed with you from the pick-up and during the transportation. Pick-up date needs to be confirmed by Marrakech Design. Marrakech Design does not take any liability for the goods during transit with delivery term Ex Works.

Custom-Made Orders

Expected lead time for custom-made orders can be up to 4 months.

When placing a custom-made order do, we ask for a 50% deposit in order to start the manufacture. The deposit is non-refundable if the order is cancelled.

The 14 days Right of withdrawal won’t be applied to custom-made orders.

Colours and pictures
Please note that the color fidelity can be experience differently. Therefor can we not guarantee that our pictures are accurate with the products real color and appearance.

Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond Marrakech Design’s reasonable control, such as in the event of a change in legislation, government action, strike, blockade, sabotage, war, terrorism, fire, flood, natural disaster or similar events, Marrakech Design’s obligation to fulfill the purchase agreement shall be suspended for as long as the circumstance prevails. If such a delay exceeds 2 months, both purchaser and Marrakech Design have the right to terminate the agreement with immediate effect without any obligation to pay reimbursement.

Privacy policy
When placing an order to Marrakech Design you accept that we save your personal information you have provided us with. The information will not be saved in any official registrations. Marrakech Design will not under any circumstance provide your personal information to a third party.

Marrakech Design does not accept responsibility or liability for installation, sealing or refinishing of any product. We don’t accept complaints on installed tiles.
