Swedish designer Marie-Louise Hellgren’s collaboration with Marrakech Design began in 2019 with the launch of Mareld.

Inspired by the sea and coastal landscape of Bohuslän, Mareld captures the magic of late-summer evenings when bioluminescent plankton makes the water glow beneath the surface.

In 2026, the collaboration continued with Fishbone, a graphic yet soft pattern that further explores the blending of colours to create a beautiful marbled expression. Together, the collections combine organic movement, colour and craftsmanship – with subtle variations that give each tile its own character.
