Our collaboration with Marie-Louise Hellgren was launched in 2019 and introduced the pattern Mareld.
The inspiration behind Mareld comes from a love for the sea and the coastal landscape of Bohuslän. The collection is inspired by magical late-summer evenings when the water glows with bioluminescent plankton, creating a sparkling light beneath the surface.
Mareld explores the idea of making the invisible visible through organic, living patterns and a soft marbled expression. The sketch-like dots vary from tile to tile, giving each piece a unique handmade character and creating a dynamic yet timeless design suitable for a wide range of interiors.
