Claesson Koivisto Rune’s first collection for Marrakech Design, Casa Dandelion Stone, was released in 2012 and quickly received international recognition, including the prestigious Elle Deco International Design Award in Milan in 2013. Since then, Dandelion has become regarded as a modern design icon.
The collection consists of three patterns — Casa, Dandelion, and Stone — each exploring geometry, repetition, and variation in different ways.
Claesson Koivisto Rune’s second collection for Marrakech Design was released in 2015 and explores geometry, repetition, and color through the patterns Bow, Kimono, Orchard, and Moonrise.
The collection combines graphic precision with organic influences, allowing the tiles to create ever-changing compositions depending on their arrangement. From the layered hexagonal patterns of Bow and Moonrise to the refined linear expression of Kimono and the nature-inspired character of Orchard, the collection offers endless possibilities for unique and personal spaces. Through varying shapes, lines, and color combinations, the designs create dynamic meta-patterns that balance timeless simplicity with playful creativity.
Claesson Koivisto Rune’s third collection for Marrakech Design, Stitches & Embroidery, was released in 2017.
The collection consists of the patterns Mari, Stitch, Vine, and Quilt, all inspired by the craft of sewing and embroidery. By combining stitches with simple geometric forms, the designs create subtle textures and layered visual effects. The collection further explores the idea of patterns within patterns, resulting in dynamic compositions that feel both playful and refined.
